When Jewelers Mutual Insurance decided to add increased redundancy at the perimeter of their network they looked at numerous designs and approaches to accomplish their needs. 

Ascent proposed a design that consists of a Global Crossing DIA, with a Netwolves redundant feed.  By using redundant Cisco ASA Firewalls, and Cisco Routers the solution will provide N+1 redundancy at their perimeter.  As Jewelers Mutual adds additional sites, the Global Crossing DIA will be converted to MPLS, allowing for secure, scalable growth options.
